An essay on shenanigans
This play by GTL - Grupo de Teatro de Letras [Letras’ Theatre Group] will be on stage on 24 May at 7pm at the Cineteatro Turim in Benfica, as part of FATAL.
We coexist with the dystopia of reality and the shenanigans that control it. Thus, in the impossibility of representing the reality of the world, we present, through a political review, our ability to laugh at ourselves, an essay on shenanigans.
We ramble on the essential questions about the meaning of life in society, common to all those who go to the ‘trouble’ of reflecting on their existence. Through irony, humour and sarcasm we blabber about the world's blahs. Because critical dissent is acceptable, as long as it's left at home, and individualism can lead to anxiety, confusion and communication problems. So, tell him I don't want to be born, because I don't want to become a cunt like him when I get old. Cheers to life!
